$1,000 Ownerscope Closing Cost Grant Sweepstakes Rules

The $1,000 Ownerscope Closing Cost Grant Sweepstakes (Sweepstakes) is sponsored by Ownerscope Worldwide LLC dba Ownerscope, 9004 161st Street, Suite 308, Jamaica, NY, 11432 (Sponsor). The Sweepstakes is governed by these $1,000 Ownerscope Closing Cost Grant Sweepstakes Rules (Official Rules). By participating, Entrants agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Official Rules.

1. Eligibility: An eligible Entrant to the Sweepstakes must be a resident of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who is at least 18 years of age or older and has submitted their own email address upon completing the personality quiz at www.ownerscope.com. Completing the Ownerscope quiz is free. Entrants varying answer choices on the quiz do not impact their likelihood of winning a prize. When Entrants complete the Ownerscope quiz, Entrants agree to the Ownerscope Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Employees of Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates and advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate families (parent, child, spouse or sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate or win. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations. Void where prohibited. Void in Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, U.S, military installations in foreign countries, all other U.S. Territories and possessions, and wherever else restricted or prohibited by law. Entrants rights and responsibilities may vary by jurisdiction.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

2. Sweepstakes Period: The Sweepstakes begins on February 19, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. (Start Date) Eastern Standard Time (EST) and ends February 28, 2024, at 6:30pm EST (End Date) according to Sponsors time clock (Sweepstakes Period).

3. How to Enter the Sweepstakes: During the Sweepstakes Period, Entrants must register for the February 28, 2024, workshop entitled Renting toward Owning. The registration must be completed using the online method provided by Sponsor.

All entries must be received by the end of the Sweepstakes Period to be eligible. Any entry with an invalid or unauthorized email address shall be void. In the event of a dispute as to who submitted an entry, the Entrant will be deemed to be the person who owns the email address associated with the event registration, and that person must comply with these Official Rules. In the event a dispute regarding the identity of the individual who actually submitted an entry cannot be resolved to Sponsors satisfaction, the affected entry will be deemed ineligible.

4. Event Platform Disclosure: All sweepstakes are in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Eventbrite or Meta Platforms. Entrants are providing their information to Sponsor and not to Eventbrite or Meta Platforms.

5. Odds: Odds of winning the prize depend on the number of eligible entries received.

6. Winner Selection and Notification of Potential Winner: One (1) potential winner will be announced. within 72 hours after the the End Date, a representative of Sponsor will select one (1) potential winner at random from among all eligible entries received.

One potential winner be notified officially by email. The potential winner will be required to respond (as directed) within forty-eight (48) hours of attempted notification. The failure to respond timely to the notification may result in forfeiture of the prize. Potential winners will be required to complete, sign and return the Sponsors Conditional Grant Letter within ten (10) calendar days from the date of notification (the Required Response Date). After the Required Response Date, an alternate potential winner may be randomly selected from among the remaining eligible entries if the potential winner (i) fails to respond to the notification; (ii) fails to complete, sign and return the Conditional Grant Letter or provide any other documents or information required by Sponsor; or (iii) cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason.

7. Prize: A grant of $1,000 to be disbursed to the winner upon or prior to the winners confirmed closing date on their purchase or refinancing of a home within the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia, provided such closing date occurs within twelve (12) months from the date of execution of the Conditional Grant Letter (the Sunset Date) and pursuant to the terms therein. The winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes as well as all costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance. The winner may be permitted to transfer the prize pursuant to the terms of the Conditional Grant Letter and the Prize Transfer Rules below. All prize details are at Sponsors sole discretion. Limit one (1) prize per person for the entire Sweepstakes. If the winner does not have a confirmed closing date prior to the Sunset Date, then the prize will be forfeited. Sponsor shall be under no obligation whatsoever to extend the Sunset Date of the Conditional Grant Agreement.

8. Prize Transfer Rules: After completing, signing and returning the Conditional Grant Letter, the winner may transfer the prize by assigning the Conditional Grant Letter to another person who meets the criteria for an eligible Entrant under these Official Rules (the Transferee). To assign the Conditional Grant Letter, the winner must contact the Sponsor by email to legal@ownerscope.com to request to transfer the prize to the Transferee. The winner will be required to complete and sign a gift letter and/or an assignment agreement indicating, among other things, that the winner is making the transfer as a gift, without the requirement of any payment or repayment from the Transferee. Once the Transferees eligibility is verified by Sponsor, the Transferee shall be bound by the same Sunset Date under the original Conditional Grant Letter. The prize may only be transferred once. After one transfer any attempt at a subsequent transfer will be deemed invalid.

9. Privacy: Please refer to Sponsors privacy policy located at https://ownerscope.com/privacy-policy.htm for important information regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information by Sponsor.

10. Technical Difficulties: Any portion of the Sweepstakes may be canceled, suspended and/or modified, in whole or in part, if in Sponsors opinion any technical failure, fraud, or other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes. If terminated, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, select the potential winners from among all non-suspect, eligible entries received up to time of such action or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor.

11. Disqualification: Entrants will be disqualified if discovered entering under several names or email addresses or in any way attempting to unfairly manipulate the Sweepstakes. Entries generated by a computer script, macro or other automated means will be disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify false entries or entries suspected of being false. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who is found to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, or to be behaving in a disruptive manner, or with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes, or to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages (including, without limitation, attorneys fees) and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Limitations of Liability: If for any reason an entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, the Entrants sole remedy is another entry in the same Sweepstakes during the Sweepstakes Period. Entrants agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor, Eventbrite, Inc., and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates and advertising and promotion agencies and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, Released Parties) from and against any claims, damages, disability, attorneys fees, and costs of litigation and settlement, as well as any liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from: (i) use or acceptance of any prize, or (ii) participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity or participation in this Sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, misdirected, undelivered, delayed, encrypted, intercepted or damaged communications, Releases, email or mail; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes, or in any Sweepstakes-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to participants or to any other persons computer related to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or downloading materials from or use of the website. In the event Sponsor is prevented from continuing with the Sweepstakes as contemplated herein by any event beyond its control, including but not limited to, hacking, tampering, unauthorized human intervention or due to fire, flood, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, or any federal, state or local government law, order, or regulation, or other cause not reasonably within Sponsors control (each a Force Majeure event or occurrence), then subject to any governmental approval which may be required, Sponsor shall have the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes (or any portion thereof). The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.

13. Disputes: Disputes regarding these Official Rules and/or the Sweepstakes will be governed by the laws of the State of New York without regards to its conflict of laws principles. Decisions of Sponsor are binding and final. In the event of a dispute as to who submitted an entry, the Entrant will be deemed to be the person who owns the email address associated with the workshop registration. No claimant in any dispute involving Sponsor shall be entitled to claim or obtain indirect, punitive, incidental or consequential damages. Sponsors failure to enforce any provision in these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

14. Sweepstakes Results: To obtain the names of the winners in the Sweepstakes, mail a self-addressed stamped envelope to Ownerscope Worldwide LLC, 9004 161st Street, Suite 308, Queens, NY, 11432, Attn: Grants Administrator, no later than ninety (90) days after the end of the Sweepstakes. Please specify the date on which the Sweepstakes began, and the name of the specific Sweepstakes.
